Encore Call · Effective 4 October 2026
Encore Call is a music release discovery platform, available at www.encorecall.com. We designed the Service to work without collecting personal information. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data does and does not exist when you visit.
Your browser may retain a small amount of local data:
stp_votes) so the site remembers which
releases you've already voted on and lets you change or withdraw your vote.
It contains only video identifiers and your vote for each, never identifies
you personally, and expires after one year. This data is confined to your browser, is not used to track you, and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
Votes are counted anonymously. When you vote, the server records the change against the video's public tally only — we do not link votes to visitors. To prevent spam, our server briefly keeps a hashed identifier derived from your IP address and browser string in order to enforce a generous rate limit (a maximum of 30 votes per 10-minute window). This hash cannot be reversed to obtain your IP address, cannot be matched to individual visitors across sessions, and entries are discarded after ten minutes.
The Service embeds video players and loads thumbnail images from YouTube (Google LLC), and fetches content from YouTube's and Apple's servers on our behalf when building the platform. YouTube may process your IP address when you view embedded content, in accordance with its own privacy policy and Terms of Service. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy for details. We do not send YouTube or Apple any information about you ourselves.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible mode) to protect the platform from automated spam submissions. Turnstile runs client-side in your browser and verifies that interactions are coming from a human rather than a bot. It may process technical signals such as your IP address, browser configuration, and device characteristics, but only insofar as Cloudflare needs to assess risk. The site itself sends no personal information to Cloudflare; all verification happens before any form data reaches our servers. We recommend reviewing Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details. This protection does not require you to solve captchas or answer challenges.
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for security and operational purposes such as blocking abuse. These logs are not used to identify or profile individual visitors and are retained only as long as operationally necessary.
The Service is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we change how the Service handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Any significant change involving collection of new categories of information will be clearly flagged.
Questions about privacy can be directed to [email protected].
